Frequently asked questions

No, you do not need to be home. Many of our clients provide us with a key, door code, or instructions on how to access the home. We treat every home with the utmost respect and security.

Yes! We prioritize the health of your family and pets. We can use eco-friendly and non-toxic products upon request to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

We understand plans change. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your appointment without any cancellation fees.

Yes, Sparkle Cleaning Group is fully insured and bonded. We provide peace of mind knowing your property is protected.

Yes, we generally require an estimate appointment prior to booking. Estimates are free, carry no obligation, and there are no penalties for cancelling them. For in-person estimates, you receive a final price immediately. Virtual estimates provide a price range, with the final price determined on the day of service.

We require a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Recurring clients also have a grace period for rescheduling to maintain their preferred rate.

Yes, we provide all necessary professional-grade cleaning solutions, tools, and equipment. However, if you have allergies or prefer specific products (such as for our Eco-Cleaning service), we are happy to use client-provided products as long as they are safe and clearly labeled.

For safety reasons, we do not move furniture, appliances, or items exceeding 30-50 lbs. We will clean around heavy items. Additionally, we do not climb higher than a 2-step or 3-step ladder (approx. 8 feet).

Pets must be properly secured or confined to a separate area (like a crate or closed room) for everyone's safety. If pets are unsecured or aggressive, we may have to refuse service. Please note we do not clean pet waste, litter boxes, or cages.

Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, cheques, and P2P platforms (Zelle, Venmo, Cash App). Please be aware that card processing fees (3.8% – 3.9%) may apply.

Yes. We do not clean hazardous molds, asbestos, or biohazards (including human or pet bodily fluids, blood, or excessive waste). We also do not clean fragile/antique items, wet-wipe electronics, or organize personal clutter.

Yes, laundry service is available as an add-on for clients with in-unit washer and dryer machines. You must provide the detergents and materials. We also offer folding and ironing add-ons upon request.

  1. Available for many budgets. Factor-based pricing utilized for services. Minimum service charges apply. Sparkle Cleaning Group does not guarantee to be able to accommodate budgets completely. We will work with you to find the best price, but our services carry a minimum service charge.
  2. Your home will be secured as you instruct. Instructions must be provided to customer service or the cleaning team in order to properly secure your home. If no instructions provided, our team is trained to lock all doors before exiting the property and windows will be closed. On certain cleaning experiences or services, we may leave the windows open to allow strong odors to leave or for moisture to dry off.
  3. There are no penalties for cancellations prior to 24 hours of the appointment. For cancellations less than 24 hours in advanced, you may incur a cancellation fee due to such short notice. Extenuating circumstances may allow us to waive the cancellation fee as a courtesy. See more of our pricing and scheduling policies at sparklecleaning.group/policies.   4. Sparkle is fully insured. For accidents and damages, please contact us to file a claim and we will work with you to rectify the issue within reason. Any reports are fully investigated and you may be asked for proof to support your report. Damages may be covered in cash value or cleaning services equivalent to the value of damages. Subject to investigation by Sparkle Cleaning Group. We may also replace or repair any damages, courtesy of Sparkle Cleaning Group, to rectify the issue.
